subjective review

A subjective review is an assessment of the document set to determine any combination of relevancy, factual / legal issues, and privilege.  Such reviews are conducted by lmi’s experienced team of lawyers.

With an lmi Subjective Team the client gets a team:
·       in which each member is in good standing with The Law Society of Upper Canada and is insured with LPIC;
·       that has read all the pleadings and other material provided to assist in the review;
·       that has a project binder containing the pleadings; instruction guidelines and particular protocols;
·       that works together, usually in the same room;
·       in which varying opinions are discussed as and when they arise keeping everyone consistent;
·       that meets daily to review procedures and methods;
·       that provides questions to counsel in near real time with answers circulated immediately;
·       subject to in-house specialized quality control procedures and
·       whose statistics are constantly monitored to ensure efficiency and that timelines are being maintained.

Clients also receive:
·       frequent progress reports for monitoring of the project and
·       an opportunity to meet with the team to explain theories of the case and highlight import review issues.
