subjective review
A subjective review is an assessment of the document set to determine any combination of relevancy, factual / legal issues, and privilege. Such reviews are conducted by lmi’s experienced team of lawyers.
With an lmi Subjective Team the client gets a team:
· in which each member is in good standing with The Law Society of Upper Canada and is insured with LPIC;
· that has read all the pleadings and other material provided to assist in the review;
· that has a project binder containing the pleadings; instruction guidelines and particular protocols;
· that works together, usually in the same room;
· in which varying opinions are discussed as and when they arise keeping everyone consistent;
· that meets daily to review procedures and methods;
· that provides questions to counsel in near real time with answers circulated immediately;
· subject to in-house specialized quality control procedures and
· whose statistics are constantly monitored to ensure efficiency and that timelines are being maintained.
Clients also receive:
· frequent progress reports for monitoring of the project and
· an opportunity to meet with the team to explain theories of the case and highlight import review issues.
